Location

Flex Studios stands at 9542 W Interstate 10, beside exit 561 for Wurzbach Road, in the Medical Center District on San Antonio's northwest side. The South Texas Medical Center, about 900 acres of hospitals and institutes including UT Health, University Hospital and Methodist, is less than 2 miles away, and USAA headquarters roughly a mile. Denny's, El Taco Tote and McDonald's are a few steps from the door; for nearly everything else you need a car.

Getting there

From San Antonio International Airport the drive takes 10 to 15 minutes, and there is no hotel shuttle. Rental cars are at the Consolidated Rental Car Facility, a walk from Terminal B across the Sky Bridge, while taxis pick up at the commercial curb outside Terminal A, and Uber and Lyft on its lower level.

On the highway, take I-10 exit 561; exit 564 serves Loop 410 and exit 555 La Cantera and Six Flags. Parking at the hotel is free.

VIA buses are a slow alternative: route 5 links Terminal B with the North Star Transit Center, where you change toward the Medical Center, and route 534 runs along Wurzbach Road. A stop right by the hotel is not guaranteed and VIA has proposed changes for 2027, so check the VIA trip planner first.

What to see

Nearby, Phil Hardberger Park has about 6.5 miles of trails, two dog parks and a land bridge over Wurzbach Parkway. Up I-10 toward Loop 1604 are The Rim, the open-air Shops at La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, about 10 minutes away, with Holiday in the Park from November 21, 2026.

Downtown, the Alamo opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, close to the River Walk, which leads north to the Pearl; the missions have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015. Spring, with Fiesta San Antonio in April, and fall are the best seasons, while July and August highs top 95°F.
